Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. What is your political goal?
A. To end this:

Q. What will it take to end abortion?
A. First of all, language is foundational. An abortion of a pregnancy is
the end of it. A tragic miscarriage is correctly called a spontaneous
abortion. When a mother pays someone to surgically kill her prenatal
child,
that is correctly called murder. An abortion is when the murdered
baby is removed from the mother.
Here is a quick language lesson:
fetus = prenatal child
zygote = prenatal child
pregnancy tissue = prenatal child
embryo = prenatal child
"two-celled speck" = prenatal child
nonviable product of conception = prenatal child
"reproductive right" = murder of a prenatal child
"a woman's choice" = murder of a prenatal child
"voluntary interruption of pregnancy" = murder of a prenatal
child
"induced abortion" = murder of a prenatal child
The murdering of prenatal children will end. It will either end by the
churches leading this culture in making murder unthinkable and
unavailable,
or it will end by the judgment of God in destroying these places and the
wicked culture that accepted it. The slaughtering of children will stop.
In order for the murdering to stop, it will take repentance and
obedient faith. We need to repent for the sins of:
1. Unbelief. We have failed to believe that the prenatal children are
our
neighbors. We are failing to believe that God means His commands. We are
failing to believe that God has enough grace and strength available for
those who obey His call to rescue the weak and needy.
2. Selfishness. We have failed to love our preborn neighbors as
ourselves.
Our comfort has trumped their lives. We have literally stayed home and
let the babies die.
3. Love of money. We have loved money and temporal "security"
more than we
have obeyed God's commands. Every single church in America could recruit
and fund one (or more) full-time missionary to the preborn.
4. Compromise. It is increasing our national bloodguilt for so many
people
to support abortion tolerating corporations, schools, hospitals,
political
parties, and even "churches." The worst is the funding of
"pro-life" groups
that support pro-murder politicians and judges.
5. Fear of man. Instead of fearing what we'll lose by obeying God and
rescuing these children, let us fear God and what we'll lose if we
don't.
Peacefully praying, preaching, sidewalk counseling, picketing,
evangelizing, and singing in front of these killing centers has closed
scores of these American death pits down. Jesus has powerfully blessed
the
Rescue movement and will continue to do so.
Q. What about the horrors of rape and
incest?
We'll let our spokesperson Rebecca answer
this. Click here.
Q. What is your plan?
A. 1. To collect enough valid signatures (317,000+) from Michigan voters
to place this proposed Amendment on the ballot this November 7.
2. To campaign and then win the vote.
3. To restore legal protection to persons before they are born by making
the laws that apply to the born apply to the preborn.
4. To fight and win court challenges. The Thomas More Law Center is now
preparing for this arena.
5. To make the murdering of prenatal children as acceptable and common
as
owning a slave today.
Q. Will you have enough time to collect so many signatures?
A. Some of the same key volunteers who spearheaded the Marriage
Amendment
petition drive two years ago are participating in the Personhood
Amendment.
We collected over 500,000 signatures in less than ten weeks in 2004.
Now,
we have twice that much time.
Q. Who can circulate the petitions?
A. Registered voters in Michigan.
Q. How do you respond to
pro-life people who won't circulate the petitions
because they feel that the timing is bad, being as pro-life people
should be
focusing on electing a pro-life U.S. Senator this year?
A. Here are 50,003 reasons to Constitutionalize the personhood of
all
children and stop the killing now:
1 - 50,000. This is the approximate number of children murdered by
surgery
every couple of years in Michigan. All of these children want the
Michigan
Constitution to protect them before they get butchered in "abortion
clinics." God's commandments against stopping the shedding of
innocent
blood aren't conditional upon our political timing and races.
50,001. Nothing will elect a pro-life Senator or Governor quicker
than to
energize the pro-life voting base of people by having a great pro-life
initiative on the ballot.
50,002. Some of the candidates running for the U.S. Senate (and
other
offices) understand this and have signed and are circulating this
petition.
If a "pro-life" candidate for elected office won't support the
legal
protection of all people, does that still qualify them as pro-life?
50,003. When will there be a general election when there is not a
"key"
race for Senator, President, Governor, etc? Never. The
pro-life people
circulating petitions will probably all be voting for pro-life
candidates in
November, especially the candidates who demonstrated their pro-life
convictions by working to protect all children through this
Constitutional
amendment. Some candidates rode the wave of the Marriage Amendment
in 2004
to victory for the Amendment and themselves.
Q. When do you plan to turn the signatures in?
A. July 10th - the last day that we are allowed to in order to qualify
for
the ballot this November. Thus, we need everything sent to us by July
7th
or delivered the evening of July 9th.
Q. What Can Incorporated Churches
Do?
Guidelines spelled out by Richard Thompson, of the Thomas
More Law Center
Q. Which churches are circulating the petitions?
A. We wish we knew all of them! Hundreds of volunteers have received
them
and we hope that every church has a church contact that can coordinate
the
petition drive now and the campaign later. Please ask churches to send us a note or e-mail
stating
that they would like to be listed on our website as a petitioning
participant.
Q. How can a volunteer get lots of accurate signatures in a very
limited
amount of time?
A. Petitioning
Instructions
Q. Which candidates and elected officials are you endorsing?
A. None. We are incorporated as a Ballot Question Committee and are not
allowed to make endorsements. We list circulators of the petitions on
our
website [link] who desire to be listed, but that is all. All candidates
and
elected officials are invited to get on board, and some have. All
political
parties are invited to get on board and one has. It would be wonderful
to
see candidates competing to collect the most signatures and be the most
actively pro-life. Hopefully, we can form a non-partisan political
action
committee after the petition drive is completed.
Q. What if you don't collect enough signatures, or lose the vote, or
have
judges rule against you?
A. Then thousands of Michigan children will continue to be murdered
yearly,
while people without vision or courage accept it - until the judgment of
God
crushes such a wicked culture. We refuse to surrender to the continuing
holocaust upon children.
Q. But isn't Roe v. Wade the settled law of the land?
A. Absolutely not! The law of the land is the Declaration of
Independence
and the Constitution. Judges who disregard that and follow incorrect
precedent rulings, or make things up, are acting tyrannically and need
to be
peacefully removed.
Q. When Roe v. Wade is overturned, won't prenatal children then be
protected by current Michigan law?
A. Some of the bigger and older children will be protected, but not all
of
them. We demand that the rights and protections guaranteed to all born
persons be likewise guaranteed to all people without discrimination.
Q. What is the most effective way to educate others to become
pro-life?
A. Show the pictures
.
&

Ignorance and denial must be defeated by truth! You can show pictures
through literature, large signs, over the internet, and on television
commercials for federal candidates. Where these pictures are shown, the
numbers of murdered children decreases. Showing the truth is critical to
making the murdering of prenatal children unthinkable and unavailable in
our
culture.
Q. What can I do to help?
A. Great question! Click Here!
